About the Artist

Leda Black lives in the Washington, D.C. area. Her primary medium is digital imagery printed by high resolution archival inkjet. Most of her recent work is part of the Female Power Project, started in 2015. Previously she concentrated on book arts—writing, printing, and binding limited edition artists books under the imprint Palabra Press. I like this view into my studio after I pulled eve I like this view into my studio after I pulled everything in and just before I pulled down the door. Turns out this stuff blocks the view of me working at my desk and I can hear people talking whilst they are looking in through the windows and I don't feel exposed. I think the view in makes them happy with all the colors and messages. I'm stressed about all the things I have to finish before moving in to @thefemalepowerproject hut downtown at the holiday market. I won't be able to finish everything. I always manage to pull enough together so I assume that will happen again this time. 💃⏰ #buylocal
